Job Opportunities:


Access Assistant–we typically have several Access Assistants who run the equipment to air and record the government meetings of each of the three cities that we service.  A basic aptitude and comfort with computers is required, but all other training will be provided.  On average, AAs will cover 1-4 meetings per week, so this is the perfect job for a student or someone who just wants to learn some basic media skills.

Additionally, Access Assistants might be asked for help with PCA projects such as filming local parades, etc.

Petaluma Community Access is always looking for new interns with an interest in building skills and networking in television, video, and radio. PCA also offers school credit for students seeking internships.

Visual Training

Build a creative eye with hands-on learning of the basics of photography, film, and content creation.


Technical Training

The program offers students access to a wide variety of advanced hardware. This allows a hands-on experience.



Master workflows to put you on the fast-track to content creation. You will learn essential skills that will allow you to work more efficiently.

Final Cut X

Get hands-on experience with one of the most user-friendly video editing platforms.

Studio Time

We’ve built a state-of-the-art studio for our members, which include auto recording, mixers, sound boards, professional microphones, sound proof rooms, green screens, and more.
